Show-Day Alerts
PrintGet a notification on your phone when your breed is up.
No more walking over to check the board.
For exhibitors who entered this show online — through the show's entry link, or from their herd in HARES.
If the secretary typed in all of your entries for you, alerts won't reach you at this show.
Sign up in three steps
- Get the free HARES app. Scan the code with your phone's camera.
- Sign in with the email you entered with. Only ever entered with your email, never made a password? Type that email on the sign-in screen anyway — HARES will help you set a password, and your entries stay linked.
- Tap Allow when the app asks to send you notifications.
That's it. Alerts start when the superintendent starts the show and stop when it's over.
What you'll get
Each alert names your breed, its sub-show (like Open A) and the judge's table.
- 📋 Assigned — your breed is at a judge's table, and which breed it follows
- ↪️ Moved — your breed went to a different judge
- ⏳ Two to go — two breeds ahead of yours
- 👉 Up next
- ⚖️ Being judged now — when the superintendent marks it
Not getting alerts?
- Check that notifications for HARES are turned on in your phone's settings.
- In the app, open More → Notification Settings. Show-day alerts and Push to my phone should both be on.
- Make sure you're signed in with the same email you entered with.
Alerts follow the superintendent's online schedule, so keep an ear out for announcements too.
